portrait of reno

i'm really enjoying the photographs of jennifer garza-cuen over at hey, hot shot! check them out; they are intriguing, bizarre and also a little bit lovely.

of the series of photos that she submitted, which take place in reno, she writes:

"I tread the line between the staged and the real. My characters appear and disappear, swallowed by the landscapes. The interiors that surround them take on their lost personality. Reno becomes the central character."
