apparently a couple of filmmakers have been working on a documentary about identity in the river city. the film's website states:
"Richmond has much cause for identity conflict including a growing resentment towards Richmond’s status as ex- Confederate capital and adjustments to civil rights movements of the past century. The flux in Richmond’s identity has allowed countercultural and progressive groups to emerge that challenge hundreds of years of conservative, traditional values. Our documentary is focused on exploring the identity conflict of Richmond through its subcultures and countercultures, as well as the historical and ideological values that continue to shape the South."
