here in richmond march arrived with sunshine, blue skies, and temperatures in the 50s. lovely. it feels like spring is right around the corner. true to my word, i gave february a chance. here are a few things i learned last month.
1. snow glitters. perhaps you already knew that, but i never noticed before. and when you see snow sparkle in the moonlight, its a magic moment.2. snow days can be quite fun, but sometimes you can have too much of a good thing.3. laughter is the best medicine. particularly when receiving harsh criticism from certain graduate school advisors.4. february is still my least favorite month. but at least it's the shortest. and maybe it makes us appreciate the warmth to come that much more.
so, goodbye february. i have a lot to look forward to this month.
